New Kids MMA Classes in Tian-Mou
Starting September 1st, 2008 we will have two New Kids MMA Classes in Tian-Mu-Taipei for ages 6 to 9 and 9 and above.
The location will be on Zhong-Shan North Road Section 6, No. 736-1, 2F. (Next to Pizza Hut-one minute walk from TAS)

Hua-Shi CTS TV Muay Thai Demo - July 6, 2008

Tony along with William and Arnaud made an appearance on CTS Taiwanese TV for a Demo about Muay Thai. This is the second time that a major TV channel call us clearly indicating that this is one of the best places for Martial Arts training in Taiwan.

President cup Jujitsu :Kumite; Championship - June 15, 2008

| This Year・s President Cup was held in Ban-Chiao City and was attended by Jujutsu, Karate, Judo, Taekwondo and MMA Practitioners. Two members of our academy, Daniel Tarpy and Lee Yue-Feng, took part and both got Second Place Silver medal. Congratulations to both for their efforts. |

| Muay Thai Seminar - March 15 and 16, 2008 |

Another Muay Thai Seminar and another great success. Serm and Berm gave a high level training to around 30 Thai Boxing enthusiast. The venue was in the beautiful Dojo in Nei-Hu. Mr. Samporn Maneemaitreejit Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand , Taipei office was present along with Master Chang Han-Tung of the Jujitsu Federation as well as representatives of our Sponsors Ihr and Carrefour.

Muay Thai Seminar - November 24, 25, 2007

Taiwan MMA Committee
It is official now! October 22, the Taiwan MMA Committee was created and Master Antoine Fares was elected President. The Committee is placed under the Taiwan Jujitsu Federation. This is a big development for the MMA World here in Taiwan and a true recognition to Tony’s effort in promoting Martial and Fighting Arts in Taiwan and abroad!

Taiwan・s First Thai Boxing Seminar
A Thai Boxing Seminar will be held on November 24th and 25th, (Saturday & Sunday 3 to 6 PM) in Taipei, Nei Hu District. This Seminar, the first of its kind, organized by the Fares Academy for Fighting Arts and under the patronage of the Taiwan Jujitsu Federation/Taiwan MMA Committee, will feature two Thai Instructors Jitti and Rajasak. These former Thai Champions are considered among the best that Thailand has to offer, each having over 80 professional fights under his belt and with a vast experience and expertise in the field of Thai Boxing. The purpose of organizing this Seminar is to promote and inform Martial Arts practitioners as well as the general public about real Thai Boxing. This Seminar will deal with all aspects of Thai Boxing such as: Boxing and kicking, Elbows and Knees, Clinch Work, Stance and Balance, Pad Work and Individual Instructions, Thai style conditioning and Stamina as well as teaching the traditional Ram Muay (Sacred Dance done before each fight). Participants will be divided into different groups depending on their level so everyone is welcomed to come. (Seminar open to kids age 8 and above)

Thailand - August 07
Tony had few intensive days in Bangkok training in Thai Boxing in August with Jitti and his Team. The workout was great and challenging. Tony and Jitti know each other since over 17 years now. It goes back to the days when Tony started training with Jitti at the old Gym in Khao-San Road in 1990.

Generous Donation
Mr. Bruce Yang made a generous donation to our Dojo of a little over NT$ 18000. This money was collected by his wife selling items at the American School Bazaar for the sole purpose of helping us. The sum was handed directly to Master Chang and it will be used to buy a much needed Water Dispenser. Everybody was deeply touched by this offer and we deeply thank Mr. and Ms. Yang for their philanthropic gesture.
Also we already received from our Sponsor European Capital Bank and Mr. Attila Freska a sum of NT$ 10000. This money will be used to buy 3 Boxing Bags to be added to the Striking Area. Thanks again to Attila for this generous donation and his unwavering support.

Taiwan President Cup Championship - April 22, 2007
Seven Members of our Team joined the Taiwan President’s Cup Championship / MMA Competition. This event was organized by the Taiwan Jujitsu Federation and attended by Fighters from different Schools and Styles such as Jujitsu, Brazilian Jujitsu, Judo, San-Da, Kick Boxing and MMA. Our guys did extremely well and we got 5 Medals, 2 Gold and 3 Silver.
Under 62 Kg:Yue-Feng Lee Silver Medal
Under 69 Kg: Joseph Chien Gold Medal
Under 77 Kg: Damien Wadell Silver Medal
Under 94 Kg:Ulrich Muller Gold Medal / Daniel Tarpy Silver Medal

Discovery Channel - January 15, 2007
The Discovery Channel paid us a visit to our Dojo in San-Chung in order to film the Thai and Kick Boxing Section of the FFS System. It was later broadcasted on the Discovery’s Channel “Taste the World” program.
