Antoine Fares, Chief Instructor

Tony has been practicing Martial Arts since the young age of 5. He started with Wrestling along with his two Brothers, under their Father, then, while maintaining his love for Wrestling, he branched out to Martial and Fighting Arts. Currently he holds Black Belts and Instructor’s degrees in 11 different disciplines.

Master Fares was the first to bring MMA to Lebanon. In 1991 he started giving various Martial Arts Seminars there and culminating in August 2004, with the help of Master Naoum Saade, in organizing Lebanon’s First MMA Seminar in Bouddha club-Adma.

Also in Lebanon Master Fares helped create the “Lebanese Kick Boxing High Technical Committee” in 1990 with Sami Haddad as President. He was later appointed as Technical Coordinator for the Committee and International Representative in the “W.K.A” (World Karate Association)

In 1993 Master Fares was elected International Representative for the “Lebanese Kung-Fu Wu-Shu High Technical Committee” with Master Antoine Zayek as President.

In 1993 Master Fares was selected to represent the Karate International Council of Kick Boxing (K.I.C.K) as:

  • Public Relations-Technical Advisor and K.I.C.K “Ambassador” to Taiwan.
  • Public Relations-Technical Advisor and K.I.C.K “Ambassador” to China.
  • Technical Director and K.I.C.K Coordinator for South Eurasia (including the Middle East: Lebanon, Syria, Cyprus, Jordan, Israel and Palestine)

In New Caledonia and upon the invitation of Master Jean-Paul Rovinot, Master Fares conducted the First MMA Seminar there in April 2006.

Testimonials

Anyone who touched gloves, crossed hands, wrestled, fought or studied under Tony can attest to his great proficiency in Fighting Arts. His incredible expertise, vast knowledge and great skills make him a class on his own. Tony and I have done Seminars in Russia, Lithuania and Belarus. We also traveled all over Europe with our Team and I coached him in many of his fights. I know first hand what his level is.

Tony is also a Master in the Art of Healing. While many Martial Arts Masters have no clue about Human Anatomy and can’t even differentiate between Biceps Brachialis and Biceps Femoris, Tony is a qualified Osteopath and a Licensed Physical Therapist. This is the best way to ensure that the training place is safe and healthy and not a place for trials and errors!
